The PFI Annual Conference highlights the various applications of densified biomass, as well as trends and best practices within the densified biomass industry. It attracts a broad range of individuals from the public and private sectors, academia, and local, state and national governments from North America and beyond. The conference features educational sessions as well as industry exhibits, extensive networking opportunities, and a golf tournament. The golf tournament is a great way to experience some friendly competition with your friends and colleagues in the industry while playing on a top-notch course.

Registration FAQs

Q: Do I have to be a PFI member to register/attend?

A: No, you don't have to be a member; however, PFI members receive a discounted registration rate. Plus you get a full year of PFI membership benefits! To take advantage of the discount, join now or renew now if your membership has expired.

Q: Can I register multiple attendees at one time?

A: All non-members must register separately and individually.

PFI members may register up to 5 additional “linked profiles” during a single registration transaction. If you are a member and plan on registering more than 5 attendees, please contact the PFI office. Please read the instructions below and follow the steps that fit your needs:

Members: How to register yourself + additional attendees:
When you begin registering, select “Register Yourself” on the next page to enter your information. Before submitting the registration form select “Register Linked Profile” and select the profile from the drop-down you wish to register. You may register multiple linked profiles at a time by selecting “Register Linked Profile” before submitting the form. Only company “key contacts” will see this option; if you believe you should be the key contact for your company please contact the PFI office. See our instructions on how to add a linked profile to your company account.

Members: How to register other attendees ONLY (not including yourself):
When you begin registering, select “Register Linked Profile” and select the profile from the drop-down you wish to register. You may register multiple linked profiles at a time by selecting “Register Linked Profile” before submitting the form. Only company “key contacts” will see this option; if you believe you should be the key contact for your company please contact the PFI office. Q: Can I pay with a credit card?

A: Yes. You may also pay by check by selecting “invoice me” (see below). Checks should be mailed to the PFI office once you have received your invoice.

Q: When is the registration fee due?

A: Payment is due within 30 days of registration.

Q: I need an invoice first in order to submit my payment for registration. Is this an option?

A: Yes. During checkout, please select "Invoice me". You will then receive a system-generated invoice via email that can be paid at a later date via check or credit card.

Q: What is the cancellation/refund policy?

A: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to PFI. A $75 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations received by May 22, 2020. No refunds will be made under any circumstances on cancellations received after May 22, 2020. Substitute attendees will be permitted. No refunds can be made by PFI for lodging, airfare, or any other expenses related to attending the conference.

Q: How do I register for the Golf Tournament?

A: The Golf Tournament is separate from the annual conference registration form. Please visit the Golf Tournament page to sign up.
