Assessing The Regulatory Victories and Policy Progress of the Past Year It could be argued that the last year has been the most active in federal regulation and policy for the Pellet Fuels Institute in five years. A regulatory victory emerged after a five-year effort that saw a change not only in the leadership at the PFI but also a change in administrations at the White House and the EPA. Finally, while our efforts on the policy front didn’t yield any clear victories this discussion will report on our most active year in Washington in years and the opportunities we continue to work towards.
